Rotary Waterloo:
- Is a diverse and welcoming service club, aspiring to enhance the quality of life in Waterloo Region, via the purposeful investment of resources -time, knowledge, and money - in efforts that build human potential.
- Members and guests feel a sense of belonging – they are appreciated and are part of a fun, inclusive, and collaborative community. Our bi-weekly meetings are a highlight of the week for our members.
- Will work to build the commitment of our membership, inspiring regular participation in club activities, service projects, and promotion of the club.
- Will work to build the capacity of our membership, by providing opportunities for our members to learn about themselves, each other, our community, and Rotary International.
- Will develop and support our members to be effective community leaders, working to impact positive change in Waterloo Region. o is committed to supporting the personal and professional success of young people in our club and in the community, while recognizing the diversity of their needs.
- Will commit to an international project, successfully leveraging Rotary Global Grants funding, in partnership with local communities and other Rotary Clubs.
- Has an engaged membership of 50-60 dedicated members; committed to fundraising $150,000 per year.
- We actively seek partnerships, as we work to enhance our impact. o will have a clear succession strategy, including an accessible and transparent election process and increased member participation in the Rotary Leadership Institute and other offerings of Rotary International.
